This gingerbread baking mix lets you create a spicy gingerbread cookie dough with a delicious ginger flavour. These cookies bake flat and hold their shape when baking, letting you create perfectly shaped gingerbread men and gingerbread houses ready for decoration.
Perfect for any Christmas baking sesh!
You need:
- 500g mix
- 1 egg
- 60g butter
- 60ml water
Instructions:
- Ingredients need to be at room temperature.
- Put the mix, eggs, butt and water in a bowl.
- Put a flat beater on your mixer and mix the dough for 5 minutes on low speed.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and set for an hour in the fridge.
- Preheat the oven to 180C (fan 160C).
- Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
- Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3mm and cut out the desired shapes.
- Bake the cookies in the oven for approximately 12 minutes.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool down on the baking sheet.
- Decorate as desired!
