Red Velvet Ready Made Sponge Cake
Deliciously moist red velvet cakes, individually boxed and ready for you to decorate. Red velvet cake is a chocolate flavoured sponge cake with a distinctive red colour. This recipe is DAIRY FREE - however, it is made in a bakery where milk is used, so is not suitable for those with serious allergies.
● Our Red Velvet Cake has a 5 week shelf life from baking - store in a cool, dark place
● This cake can be frozen for up to 3 months
● Cakes can be semi frozen prior to decorating to avoid excess cake crumbs
● Square cakes are all sold as 2 layers in a box. Each layer is approx 1.25" deep (2.5" combined depth) so two layers together will make a standard depth celebration cake
● Round cakes are baked individually in one layer, approx 2.5" deep, and are ready for you to split into 2 or 3 layers as you wish
● Round cakes are baked in a tin of the size advertised - slight shrinkage may occur during baking.
● Order cakes to arrive 1 week before starting decoration to ensure you have them in good time!
● Our cakes are sold without filling but our filling cream works perfectly as a filling and to crumb coat your cake
